ADOPTION PROGRAM
The Sikeston Area Humane Society has both cats and dogs available for adoption.

You can visit the Shelter during our normal hours of operation and spend as much time as you wish to choose and get to know your future pet. Shelter staff will be glad to help you find the best pet to fit your lifestyle, based on the information you share about your home, lifestyle, family, other pets, etc.
After you have decided on a pet to adopt, you will need to complete an adoption application. This takes about 10 minutes. If you wish, you are welcome to download a copy of the application, fill it out, and bring it to the Shelter when you make your visit. Please complete the application in its entirety. If information requested is not available to us, we will not be able to approve your adoption. All information will be verified before approval.
